Kaltura Video Resource is a way to add multimedia content to your Moodle course. The single resource will allow you to add:
All Kaltura content that you have created or used in any of your Moodle courses is located in “My Media” in the sidebar. When you are in a specific course, you will see “Media Gallery” listed in the side menu as well, it only contains the content for the particular course you are currently in and does not allow for the addition of videos to the course except for new Media Uploads or Video Quiz or existing media from your My Media. All other addition of content should be done as a Kaltura Video Resource from within the course (see below) or in “My Media.”
Kaltura gives you the ability to add multiple choice questions to video or audio files. Instructions for doing so can be found at Creating a Kaltura Video Quiz. A video quiz can be embedded in a course using the above instructions for Adding a Kaltura Video Resource to a Course.
After media resources (including Video Quizzes) are published to a course Moodle page, per the above instructions for Adding a Kaltura Video Resource to a Course, instructors can utilize data collected by Kaltura to assess student engagement with this media. Information about how to access Kaltura Video Analytics, and specifically what data is available can be found at Utilizing Video Analytics with Kaltura.
