Training, workshops, and technology consultations
Q: Whom do I contact about technology training or workshops?
A: Contact the Help Desk at firstname.lastname@example.org or (610) 330-5501. You will be contacted from someone in Instructional Technology to learn more about what your needs are.
Q: I'd like to use technology for an assignment, but am unfamiliar with the technology. What are my options?
A: Instructors wanting to design an assignment using technology are encouraged to consult with an Instructional Technologist. Contact the Help Desk at email@example.com or (610) 330-5501 to schedule a time to meet.
Q: I do better working self-paced on my own. What do you suggest?
A: Lafayette subscribes to Lynda.com for all Faculty, Students and Staff. Lynda.com is an online training library that consists of thousands of videos on technology related topics. Videos are broken into small segments (most range from 1-5 minutes) and are based on a particular topic or skill. Access Lynda.com by visiting lynda.lafayette.edu. Use your Lafayette credentials to log in.
Q: I'd like to take one of your workshops but I can't fit it into my schedule. What can I do?
A: Instructional Technology offers one-on-one instruction for those who can't attend a workshop. To schedule a time, please contact the Help Desk at firstname.lastname@example.org or (610) 330-5501.
