Do I have to connect my LinkedIn Learning account with a LinkedIn account?

No. LinkedIn Learning is separate from LinkedIn. Everyone at Lafayette College has access to use LinkedIn Learning freely and separately from their own LinkedIn account (should they have a LinkedIn account). However, you also are welcomed to connect your LinkedIn Learning account with your personal LinkedIn account.

What is LinkedIn Learning?

LinkedIn Learning is an online training library that consists of thousands of videos on technology related topics. Videos are broken into small segments (most range from 1-5 minutes) and are based on a particular topic or skill. Tutorials are available for all popular applications, including the Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), Adobe Products (Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator), AutoCAD, Final Cut Pro, Google Docs, Moodle, WordPress, GarageBand and many more.

How do I access LinkedIn Learning?

Visit linkedinlearning.lafayette.edu or click the LinkedIn Learning link in the Accounts block at my.lafayette.edu. Use your Lafayette NetID and password to login.

I went directly to linkedin.com/learning. Why doesn't my login work?

It’s easier to access LinkedIn Learning through my.lafayette.edu or linkedinlearning.lafayette.edu, but it is possible to log in from linkedin.com/learning. You would need to indicate you’re logging in with an organizational account then follow those prompts.

Can I use LinkedIn Learning at home?

Yes, LinkedIn Learning can be accessed from work, home, or anywhere you have an internet connection by going to my.lafayette.edu or linkedinlearning.lafayette.edu.

Can I become certified in a particular subject by using LinkedIn Learning?

Upon completion of a course, you will receive a certificate that is viewable online, downloadable, or shareable. All LinkedIn Learning courses are eligible for earning certificates of completion.

Can I use LinkedIn Learning on my iPad, iPhone, or Android device?

Yes. Download the LinkedIn Learning app for either the App Store or from Google Play. When asked for our domain, enter lafayette.edu to continue.
