Business Process Assessment

This Lafayette-specific process to assess the use of technology within college departments ensures the investment in technology supports the goals of the institution. A process improvement team or PIT Crew is put together of ITS staff and members of the participating department to work through the process assessment together. The team analyzes office workflows and implements more efficient uses of technology within a department.

A hybrid framework based primarily on Lean and ITIL methodologies was developed to guide the PIT Crew members through a process that identifies and improves areas of technology related inefficiencies. This leads to managing and measuring proposed process improvements over time.
