The Epson ELPDC21 Document Camera is an advanced document camera available at the circulation desk in Skillman Library that allows for the easy capturing and displaying of books, 3D objects, and experiments using the 10x digital zoom plus 12x optical zoom as well as a microscope adapter. It also allows for the recording and sharing of audio/video and the capturing of still images to be saved onto the computer or directly onto a SD card. The Interactive (Annotation) mode and Whiteboard mode allow for an additional level of interaction with the captured images.
Logitech C910 HD web cameras with integrated microphones are available at the circulation desk in Skillman Library. The camera’s HD wide-format and dual stereo microphones make them a good option for both individuals and small groups looking to use web conferencing in seminar rooms, offices, and labs. Skype is available in seminar rooms on campus, but can also be used with any other personal web conferencing account (e.g., Google Hangouts). The cameras are plug-and-play and require no additional software to connect.
