The instructions below aim to assist you in removing your Zimbra account from your iOS, Android, macOS, or Windows device. If you need assistance, contact the Help Desk at (610) 330-5501 or help@lafayette.edu.

Removing your Zimbra Account

From an iOS device

  1. Open Settings > Passwords and Accounts
  2. Select your Zimbra Account from the list then press the Delete Account button. If you aren’t sure which account is your Zimbra account, simply select an account from the list, click Account at the top of the screen. If there is any reference to facstaff-mail.lafayette.edu or incoming.lafayette.edu, that is the account you need to remove.

From an Android Device

  1. Open Settings > Accounts
  2. Select your Zimbra Account from the list then press the Remove Account button. If you aren’t sure which account is your Zimbra account, simply select an account from the list containing your Lafayette email address. If there is any reference to facstaff-mail.lafayette.edu or incoming.lafayette.edu, that is the account you need to remove.

From Mac Mail

  1. Open System Preferences > Internet Accounts
  2. Remove any CalDav or CardDav account that refers to webmail.lafayette.edu
  3. Remove any IMAP account that refers to incoming.lafayette.edu or Exchange account that refers to facstaff-mail.lafayette.edu

From Outlook

  1. Click the Start button, then Settings
  2. In the search box type Control Panel, then click to open it
  3. Click Mail or Mail (Outlook 2016) then select Show Profiles
  4. Select your Zimbra Account from the list then press the Remove Account button. Zimbra Accounts are generally called Outlook or Default. If you use Gmail in Outlook, be sure not to remove your Gmail Account.
