macOS Single Sign-On
ITS is deploying a new single sign-on functionality for College-owned Mac computers called Platform Single Sign-On (PSSO). PSSO provides Secure Enclave-backed passkey sign-in to Entra ID-backed services. You will be required to complete several steps to enable this functionality.
Enabling Platform Single Sign-On:
- A dialog will open to guide you through the registration. Click Continue to begin the registration.
- You will be prompted for your local device password to unlock and permit the registration to go forward. Type in your device password and click Unlock.
- You will next see a Microsoft sign in prompt. Enter your email address and click Next.
- If prompted to choose the type of account, choose “Work or School” account to continue.
- You will be prompted to enter your password. Enter your Lafayette College password and click Sign In.
- You will be prompted to verify with Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA). Click Approve with Duo to continue.
- Duo will prompt for you to confirm if this is your device. Click on the appropriate choice to continue.
- The next window you will see prompts you to open System Settings to enable Company Portal to autofill passkeys. Click Open System Settings to continue.
- System Settings will open to the Autofill & Passwords pane. Click the slider next to Company Portal to enable the Company Portal app to autofill passkeys.
