Add a Cover Image to your Moodle Course

Within the Moodle dashboard, courses are displayed with a randomly select course image, which can be changed to a custom image. This can make it easier to differentiate courses for instructors and students. To change the cover image, follow these steps:

1. From the course page, select the “Settings” tab.
2. In the “Description” section, drag and drop an image to the Course image area. Images should be sized to 281×150 pixels, though Moodle will crop the image for you.
3. Click the [Save and display] button.
