Add a Cover Image to your Moodle Course

How do I add a cover image to my course?

On your Moodle dashboard, each class shows up with a randomly chosen picture. You can change this to a custom image of your own. Doing this makes it much easier for both teachers and students to tell their classes apart.

To change your course cover image, follow these steps:

1. From the course page, select the “Settings” tab.
2. In the “Description” section, drag and drop an image to the Course image area. Images should be sized to 281×150 pixels, though Moodle will crop the image for you.
3. Click the [Save and display] button.
