Installing ArcGIS Pro
On my College-provided device
Faculty and Staff may install ArcGIS Pro using the Software Center for Windows.
If you do not see it listed in Software Center, please Contact the Help Desk.
ArcGIS Pro is a geographic information system (GIS) that helps users create, analyze, and share maps and data.
ITS maintains a site license for ArcGIS Pro which allows for the installation on Faculty and Staff computers as well as the Public Computer Labs and Academic Computer Labs. There is also a browser based cloud version available.
Faculty and Staff may install ArcGIS Pro using the Software Center for Windows.
If you do not see it listed in Software Center, please Contact the Help Desk.
Launch the application and click the Lafaytte College button and login in using your Lafayette College credentials. If you do not see a Lafayette College button, do the following:
It is highly recommended to sign out of ArcGIS Pro when done using it on lab computers. This is not required, but will minimize getting errors signing into ArcGIS Pro on another computer. This can be done by clicking the Sign out link in the upper right corner of the window before closing the ArcGIS Pro application.
Updates will be provided via the Software Center for Windows.
