Voicemail Saving & Retention Policy

As stated in the Data Retention Policy, voicemails will be deleted after 30 days and saved voicemails will be kept for one year.

Saving Voicemails

Voicemails in the “Saved” folder will be saved for one year.

  1. Log into uc.lafayette.edu using your NetID and password
  2. Click the Voicemail tab at the top of the screen
  3. Put a check mark in the box to the right of each voicemail you want to move to the saved folder
  4. Click the “More actions…” box below voicemail list and select “Saved”

Forwarding Voicemails to your Email

To save voicemails for use beyond one year, you can set up your voicemails to forward to your Lafayette email where they can be downloaded or saved in the email.

  1. Log into uc.lafayette.edu using your NetID and password
  2. Click the My Information tab at the top of the screen
  3. In the “Primary E-mail” section, enter the following options:
    • E-mail address: enter your Lafayette email
    • Voicemail notification: E-mail notification
    • E-mail format: Full
    • Attach audio: check to attached the voicemail as a file
  4. Click [Apply]
