The alumni email forwarding service allows you to show your contacts that you are a proud ’Pard. You can maintain your @alumni.lafayette.edu address no matter what target email address you have.

How do I use this service?

All alumni are eligible to have an alumni forward but must opt in to the service.

To opt in, add the address of the target account you want messages redirected to from your alumni forward. Visit password.lafayette.edu to configure your alumni forward.

How soon after I opt in or change my target address will it take effect?

The change should take effect within five minutes. You can send a test message to your @alumni.lafayette.edu address to see if you receive it at your target address.

How do I check my @alumni.lafayette.edu email?

All messages sent to your @alumni.lafayette.edu forward address go to the target email you set on the opt-in page.

How do I send messages as my @alumni.lafayette.edu?

You will still send messages from your existing email account. Your email provider likely supports adding another address you own, sometimes called an alias, that would enable you to select an alternate Reply-To address. Doing so would allow you to display your @alumni.lafayette.edu address. Check your email provider’s documentation for instructions.
