What is my Lafayette NetID?
Lafayette NetIDs exist for most alumni. If you aren’t sure what your NetID is, please contact Alumni Relations at 610-330-5040 or 800-Lafayette (outside of PA) or by emailing firstname.lastname@example.org.
I’m a recent graduate and I remember my NetID and password. Can I still use those?
How do I set my password?
I seem to have a technical issue with my account, who can I contact?
Contact the Help Desk at email@example.com or (610) 330-5501.
As an alumnus/alumna, what does my NetID give me access to?
Your NetID gives you access to the Alumni Portal, wireless Internet, and lab computers on campus, LeopardLink (the alumni online network), career opportunities for alumni, JSTOR, and Loeb Classical Library. If you are involved with volunteer activities, committees, or serve as a chapter secretary, you will have additional access to participate on web sites in Spaces.
ITS maintains a list of web-based services supported at the College and the constituencies that have access to them.
What is the Alumni Portal?
The Alumni Portal is a web page of links offering access to a wide variety of services available to alumni both on and off campus. Once logged in through the portal, alumni can access Banner Self-Service, Library resources, including JSTOR and Loeb Classical Library, LeopardLink, alumni benefits, career support, ticketing for Lafayette Athletics and Williams Center for the Arts events, class notes, and more.
Does my NetID give me access to email?
Your NetID does not allow you to have an @lafayette.edu email account, but you can opt to use an @alumni.lafayette.edu mail forwarding address. This address, which will be your NetID@alumni.lafayette.edu, allows you to use one email address on resumes, business cards, networking sites, etc., while receiving the email sent to it at an address of your choosing.
You can manage your email settings, including the email address at which you receive messages sent to your @alumni.lafayette.edu address.
For more information about the alumni forwarding address, read the Alumni Email Forwarding FAQ.
